My dissertation looks miles better
I'm Greek and did an MSc in shipping management. Many technical terms. The editor was careful and asked me when unsure. Very good
They spotted that I had left a participant's real first name in one of my interview quotes. That could have been a massive ethics problem. So grateful.
Had a sample edit on 500 words first, which was free, and it convinced me straight away. The rest of the thesis came back just as good.
I had a very specific department style guide and they followed it to the letter
Chemistry PhD. They didn't mess with my chemical nomenclature or IUPAC names which is a rare find. Very pleased
Chapter 2 came back with a comment saying "this section is really strong" — small thing but it gave me confidence at a moment I needed it
Pretty good overall. A couple of the changes I rejected because they didnt suit my discipline (philosophy) but most were spot on.
Thanks for the honest note that my intro was repeating my abstract word for word. Didn't realise how obvious it was
Great work but they missed that my page numbers restarted in chapter 4. I noticed it before submission thankfully
stellar work
The editor found three places where I'd written "the the". Classic.
