Was worried that because my thesis is in Spanish studies with lots of Spanish quotes, they'd mess it up. They didn't touch the quotes, edited only my English. Brilliant

Loved that the editor queried things rather than just changing them. "Did you mean X or Y?" is so much better than guessing

i wasnt sure it was worth paying for proofreading on an undergrad dissertation but i went from a 58 on my last essay to a 67 on the dissertation so yeah

They caught that I cited Smith (2019) in text but Smith (2018) in the references. Six times across the document with different authors. Crazy

I'm really grateful to the editor for the gentle comments on my writing, I'm a sensitive person and it could have gone badly lol
